New Image Added

I try to go through my images for a couple of hours whenever I think of it, which isn’t often enough, to organize and keyword, and to see what images I passed over that may now be of interest to me.  Lightroom is a great program for me to keep my images organized, and it keeps getting stronger as a processing tool.  I often prefer it to Photoshop now.  It’s integral to my workflow.

This is a recent image, but had I not been going through stuff looking for something else it would have been gathering dust for a while.  It was shot on the Mets-Willets Point 7 train subway platform about 7am while I was waiting for the train.  This image appeals to me because of the strong shadows and the very distinctive vanishing point.  I also love the way the light bounces into the ceiling and beams of the platform’s roof.  I am drawn to images executed with strong angles, deep shadows, and an appreciative sense of light.
